Annual Fire Prevention Expo

The Carbon Fire Department participates in the annual Greensburg-Hempfield Fire Prevention held at Westmoreland Mall during fire prevention week in early October. Fire Prevention is a great time to come out and meet your local fire department and learn what they do each and every day to keep their community's safe.

 Safety Days

If you are a business, school, church, recreation association or other organization wishing to hold a customer appreciation day or a public safety/fire safety awareness event at your location, please contact the Carbon Fire Department.  In addition to supplying you with a fire engine at your event, we would be more than willing to come to your chosen location on your chosen date and time to promote fire safety to the residents of our community through the means of hand-out material and actual hands-on activities.  Fire prevention is proven to be a 100% effective method in preventing fires and teaching children how to be fire safe. Together we can promote fire safety/prevention in our community and greatly reduce the number of lives lost to fire each year. For more information on having the fire department appear at your next event, please call the fire station at (724)-836-2145 or contact our Fire Prevention Committee by clicking here.

Fire Station Visits

Any school, church, boy scout, or girl scout group wanting to tour the fire station and increase their knowledge of fire safety may call the fire station at (724)-836-2145 or contact the Fire Prevention Committee by clicking here to schedule a date and time for your visit. Any individual who lives in the community or is visiting the area and wishes to visit the fire station may call the station or just simply stop by.

Smoke Detector Battery Replacement

Any resident living in the Carbon Fire District may call the fire station at (724)-836-2145 to have your smoke detector tested and/or to have your smoke detector batteries replaced.

Fire Drill Supervision

If you are a business or other organization wishing to hold a fire drill supervised by the fire department, please call the fire station at (724)-836-2145

Parades

The Carbon Fire Department actively participates in different parades in and around the community. If you are the event coordinator responsible for managing your event, contact one of our Fire Prevention Officers; Brandon Fink or Eric Sphon; by calling the fire station at (724) 836-2145 or by clicking here. We would be happy to participate in your next parade or upcoming event.
